Winchester 2018

Goodness, has a year really gone by? Yes, indeed it has twopinkchairs fans (all three of you, that’s Anne, me and one other). And here we are again in Winchester eagerly waiting for Monday and Tuesdays to pass so we can carry on to the next leg of our great driving adventure. Unfortunately, the West Coast of America is still not open, something about a Giant Sequoia blocking Interstate 101 just north of Pismo Beach. Well, the traffic delays from Seattle to San Diego would be horrendous so we have decided to travel up the East coast of America instead.  Starting in Washington on Wednesday. There are no Giant Sequoias in Wahington DC so we think we will be on pretty safe ground traffic-wise.

Anne’s cases are packed. All clothing items have been prepacked in jiffy bags and labelled both for date-of-use and colour and spares have been handed to me for my case, just-in-case. I say for my case, my packing is mostly in the wash or on the floor waiting to be sorted and I still need to buy a suitcase. A quick trip to Argos should sort that problem Monday or Tuesday. Hey, I’m on holiday, relax it will all be fine! Haha, yes you are right, I didn’t say that to Anne.
